She was predeceased by: her parents, W. B. Lumpkin, Sr. and Louise Williams Lumpkin; her husband Lester Bennett; her granddaughter Megan Marie Mizell; and her siblings, Artie Mae Lumpkin Sandifer, Rosamond Lumpkin Amacker, Genelia Lumpkin Stewart, Rebecca Nell Lumpkin Crain and W. B. Lumpkin, Jr..
She is survived by: her brother Paul Lumpkin; her children, David Lester Bennett, Diane Bennett Mizell (Larry) and Janice Bennett Walters; her grandsons, Chad Walters (Hilary), Lane Bennett (Chryssy) and Cleve Matthew Mizell; her grandparent D'Lea Mizell Hollandsworth (Spence); and her great grandchildren, Lily, Quinn Walters, Torres, Jude Bennett, Rylee and Chord Mizell.
