With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Russell Frank Goode Jr. of Bogalusa, Louisiana, born in Washington, District of Columbia, who passed away on January 14, 2021 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Russell Frank Goode and Mattie Mae Somers Goode; his wife Betty Crenshaw Goode; and his grandson Blaine Colley. He is survived by: his children, Denise G. Holley (Ira), Lori G. Colley (Bill) and Russell F. Goode III (Michelle); his grandchildren, Beth Orman (Chris), Lauren Davies (Chris), Blake Colley (Ashley), Drew Colley and Elise Goode; his great grandchildren, Morgan, Taylor Colley, Luke, Timothy Davies, Burke and Forrest Orman; and his sisters, Lois Romano and Jeanie Christopher (Jerry).
The family suggests memorials be made to First Baptist Church of Bogalusa, 541 Avenue F - Bogalusa, LA 70427, Nellie Byers Training Center, 640 Avenue V, Bogalusa, LA 70427, or a charity of one's choice.
