She was predeceased by: her parents, Velma B Gatlin and Albert Smith Sr; and her grandparents, Lawrence, Rosie Smith, Maude T. Brown and Louise Brown.
She is survived by: her children, Renada Brown (Kelvis) of Bogalusa, Elvelyn Rasha Smith and Brandon Smith (Britney); her grandchildren, Chas R. Smith, Ja'Keithon T. Smith, Sanayia R. Smith, Jyren T. Smith, Brielle A. Smith, Baylor A. Smith, Brandon R. Smith II and Brynlei A. Smith; her siblings, Jeanette Anderson, Charles Brown (Sandra) of Arlington, Patricia Henry, Marshall Wayne Smith Sr, Albert Smith, Jr (Sybil) of New Orleans, Beverly Caston and Janice O'Neal (Fred) of Montgomery, AL; her sister-in-law Johnnie Mae Sykes of Bogalusa; her godchildren, Howard D. Sibley Jr of Columbus Ohio and Yakine Miller of Florida; her grandson Brayden R. Smith; and her aunts and uncles, Maybel, Hollis Galloway, Manual and Shirley Bolian. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and close friends.
