We bid farewell to Richie Lee Oatis of Bogalusa, Louisiana, born in Prentiss, Mississippi, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on January 26, 2025 at the age of 65. Richie touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Richie leaves behind and his impact on the lives of his loved ones. Though Richie may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the memories held dear by his family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
He is survived by: his children, Aisha Lathan (Ronald), Lanequia Scott, Telisha Mingo (LeRay) and Brittany Oatis; and his siblings, Linda Oatis Williams and Albert Oatis. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
A memorial service was held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Bethlehem Baptist Church (837 E 7th St, Bogalusa, LA 70427).
