He is survived by: his wife Donna McCrury; his children, Erica McCrury, Carlous Carter, Derrick Carter and Russell Carter; his son-in-law Eric Avery; his stepchildren, Raemisha James and Arthur Chatman; his grandchildren, Sade'Cooper, Phillip Cannon, Jaylen Cooper, Justin Avery, Zachary Richard Avery, Jada McNeil, Kenneth McNeil and Aubrey Cannon; and his siblings, Barbara McCrury Harrison and Gerald McCrury. He is also survived by family members, church members, and friends.
