She was predeceased by: her daughter Brenda Savant; her parents, Halbert Bigelow and Ollie Bigelow; her grandsons, Jerry Wayne "Wormey" Duncan, Jr. and Jessie Culbreath; her siblings, Elenor Glynn Applewhite and Jerry Bigelow; and her sons-in-law, Gilbert Creel and Hub Culbreath.
She is survived by: her children, Oscar William "Billy" Selman (Ida), Deborah Jean Creel (Robbie Thomas), Wanda Lynn Culbreath and Theresa Williams (Herbie). She is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; 7 great-great-grandchildren.
