He was predeceased by: his mother Charlotte M. Lewis Gibson; his grandparents, Johnnie C. Lewis, Clyde Gatlin and Mattie Gatlin; his aunts, Ernestine Potter, Rachel Pearl Allen and Mickey Franklin; and his cousin Mitchel Johnson.
He is survived by: his son Shawn Jakeithius Gatlin of Tylertown, MS; his father Dennis Gatlin of New Orleans, LA; his siblings, Emmanual, Antoine D. Lewis of Winnfield, LA, Mercedes Gatlin of Monroe, LA and Alexis Gatlin of Franklinton, LA; and his grandmother Hattie J. Burrell (Robert) of Houston, TX. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
