She was predeceased by: her husband Thomas J Bessonette; and her parents, Agatha Pounds and Marcus Pounds. She is survived by: her son Bernie Bessonette; and her siblings, Robert Pounds of Bogalusa, LA, Michael Pounds of Bush, LA, Sharon Crosby of Bogalusa, LA and Marjon Breland Pierce of Mobile, AL. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
