He was predeceased by: his wife Cathern S. Dykes; his sons, Michael Allen Dykes Jr. and Troy Ray Dykes; and his parents, S. A. Dykes and Sadie Dykes.
He is survived by: his son Bill Dykes (Terri) of Bogalusa, LA; and his grandchildren, Alaina Williams (Donald) of Angie, LA, Corey of Bogalusa, LA and Cody Dykes of Bogalusa, LA. He is also survived by four step grandchildren; seven great grandsons; and seven step great grandchildren.
