With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Melvin Temples of Bogalusa, Louisiana, who passed away on February 5, 2022 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas "Tommy" Temples and Dixie Sheridan Temples; and his siblings, Rue J. Temples, Robert Temples, Houston Temples, Hubert Temples, Seamon Temples, Shelton Temples, Bessie Temples Griffin, Beckie Temples Crain, Fannie Temples and Baby Girl Temples.

He is survived by: his son Trent Temples; his daughter-in-law Shelby Chastant Temples of Bogalusa; his grandchildren, Colton Temples (Ainsley Temples) and Lena Mae Temples; his close friend Elaine Spencer Knight; and also Crystal Holcomb. He is also survived by nieces and nephews, his son's.

The family requests that, in lieu of flowers, a donation be made in his memory to either St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or the Bogalusa Help Center.
