She was predeceased by: her husband Donald Wayne Breland; her parents, Hilton S. Beard and Betty Talley Beard; her granddaughter Allison Sanders; her son-in-law Charles Simmons; and her brother Brian Beard.
She is survived by: her children, Steve Breland (Pam) of Franklinton, LA, Debbie Simmons of Mandeville, LA, Cara Sanders of Slidell, LA and Cheryl Breland of Hattiesburg, MS; her sister Robbie Pounds (Bobby) of Bogalusa, LA; and her grandchildren, Adam Breland, Barrett Breland, Brandon Knight, Coleman Simmons, Alicia Albert, Melissa Butler, Amanda Stephens and Lauren Pringle. She is also survived by 27 great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, February 11th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Poole-Ritchie Funeral Home (216 Alabama Ave, Bogalusa, LA 70427). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, February 11th 2025 at 2:00 PM.
