She was predeceased by: her parent H. N. Lewis; her former husband James R. Duckett; her son Michael F. Wood; her brother Robert W. Gray, Jr.; her grandson Shawn N. Wood; and her great grandchild Arlina Tish Primes.
She is survived by: her husband Gilbert King; her sons, Ira Wood, Robert Wood and Thomas Wood (Marilyn); her brothers, Gary Gray, Terry Gray and Bruce Gray; her grandchildren, Austin Wood, Ciara Wilson (Gage) and Makayla Wood; and her great grandchildren, Amber Wood, Michonne Wilson, Adley Hayes and Wyatt Warren.
Visitation was held on Monday, December 2nd 2024 at 5:00 PM at the Sheridan Jesus Name Holiness Church (52392 LA-10, Franklinton, LA 70438). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, December 3rd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
