He was predeceased by: his wife Peggy Sue Seal Stafford; his sons, Tommy Wayne, Byarn and Johnnie; and his grandson Michael "Mike" Bradley Doty.
He is survived by: his daughter Debbie; his son-in-law Philip Doty of Varnado; his grandchildren, Joey Netherland (Dana) of Independence and Caitlin Doty of Varnado; and his stepgrandson Adam Doty of Bogalusa. He is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
