She was predeceased by: her parents, Jessie Brumfield and Hattie Robinson Brumfield; her children, Jessie McClenton, Florence Brumfield and Lucille Carter; her sons-in-law, Curtis Jefferson and Carl Carter; her siblings, Etta Harris, Jessie Brumfield Jr. and Rev. Elvis Brumfield, Sr.; and her siblings-in-law, Jimmy Harris, Irma Brumfield and Vanda Brumfield.

She is survived by: her daughters, Gloria Jefferson and Effie Hatcher (Hurshell); her daughter-in-law Kim McClenton; her grandchildren, Rev. Quintero Taylor (Tonia), Arleshia Douglas (Jimmy), Jerion Lindsey, Trilon Taylor, Brent McClenton (Nancy), Tora Pittman (Wallace), Jessica McClenton, Le'Shune McClenton, Eugandus Brumfield, Sky Hatcher, Donshell Hatcher, Markita Youngblood and Marcus Youngblood; her brother Clinton Brumfield, Sr.; her daughters, Inez Peters and Jerri Youngblood; and her granddaughter Andrea Dubb. She is also survived by thirty-two great grandchildren, and eight great-great grandchildren.
