He was predeceased by: his parents, Rosella and Lawrence Horton Sr.; and his siblings, Ruby Marie Lopez, John Mack Horton and Clinton Clay.
He is survived by: his wife Maxine Horton; his siblings, Climentine Clay, Irma Jean Clay, Nannie May Clay, Torrie Clay, Jova Clay, Corrine Clay, Otis Clay Jr. and Lonzo Clay; and his sons, Lawrence Horton III, Jermaine Horton, Alvin Huwett, Melvin Huwett and Calvin Huwett. He is also survived by four grandkids, a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
