He is survived by: his daughters, Karen M. Knauf and Melissa Massey (Stephen); his grandchildren, Nicolas Knauf, Nathan Knauf, Estelle Massey, Elliot Massey and Celeste Massey; and his sister Evelyn "Eve" Meyers Dixon (Bob). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
