She was predeceased by: her parents, Gilbert Travillion and Mary Travillion; her husband Lt. Lemuel N Brown Jr.; her siblings, Grace Williams, Edna Breaux and Hansel Travillion; her children, Lydia D Brown and Lemuel N Brown III; and her grandson Etric P Smith.
She is survived by: her children, Thomas Brown (Sherry) and Marilyn E Brown. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
