He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Morris Johnson and Katie Armbruster Johnson; his former wife Carolyn Burch Johnson; his wife Winifred Williams Johnson; and his stepson Greg Crain.
He is survived by: his children, Cheryl, Allen Puckett, Tim and Michelle Johnson; his grandchildren, Ashley, Cody Simmons, Haley, Dustin Carroll, Tyler, Megan Johnson and Lauren Johnson; his great grandchildren, Bryce, Ashton Slaughter, Talan Simmons, Marlowe, Mason Carroll, Emery and Wyatt Johnson; his sister Phillippa (George Tullos); his nephew Brian Tullos; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Cecilia, Ed Blackwell, Sharon and James Ray Creel.
Visitation was held on Sunday, October 6th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Poole Ritchie Funeral Home (216 Alabama Ave, Bogalusa, LA 70427). A funeral service was held on Sunday, October 6th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
