He is survived by: his children, James Kenneth "Jimmy" Hernandez (Laura Jane) of Bogalusa, LA and Martha Joanne Romano of Bogalusa, LA; his sister Martha Sessions of Atlanta, GA; his grandchildren, Jessica Hernandez Miller (D. J. Martin) of Bogalusa, LA and James Kenneth Hernandez II of Zacharry, LA; his great grandchildren, Colby Miller, River Martin, Wyatt Martin, Jay Hernandez, Madison Hernandez and Jacey Hernandez; and his great great grandchild Kaydence Thompson.
A graveside service was held on Friday, April 18th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Ponemah Cemetery (1136 Louisiana Ave, Bogalusa, LA 70427).
