He was predeceased by: his parents, Clancy Carlyle Ferguson and Wilma Bonner Ferguson; and his stepmother Phyllis Ferguson. He is survived by: his wife Sandra Jackson Ferguson of Bogalusa; his daughter Dr. Mary Helen Ferguson of Hammond; his siblings, Dr. Bill Ferguson of Waco, TX, Barbara Gravel (Jack) of Plymouth, MN and Emily Kurzman (Bob) of Austin, TX; his stepsisters, Jorja Davis (Bill) of Marietta, GA, Kelli Rushing (John) of Cary, NC and Shannon Drew (Gerry) of Belton, TX; his nephew Stephen Gravel (Sadie) of Plymouth, MN; and his niece Becky Oleksa (Michael) of Long Lake, MN. He is also survived by three great-nieces; one great-nephew.
