He is survived by: his wife Deborah Dicks Bateman; his daughter Rebecca Bateman Grijalva; his son-in-law Eric Grijalva; his grandson Nathan Clarke Grijalva; his siblings, Brenda Bateman Lamb, James Renan "Jimmy" Bateman (Marilyn), George H. Bateman (Sharon) and Lynnette Bateman LeBlanc (Lynn); and his sister-in-law Denice Dicks White. He is also survived by nieces and nephews and their children.
