It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jessie Edwards (Bogalusa, Louisiana), who passed away on March 3, 2021, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Matthew Magee and Ardella Magee; her husband Elder Hubert Edwards, Sr.; her children, Jeffery Edwards and Patti Edwards; her siblings, Emma Weary, Howard, Earnest and Matthew Magee; and her grandson Alfrey James Mannah.
She is survived by: her children, Brealan Wells (Jerry) of Bogalusa, LA, Carroll Cole (Olu) of South River, Vanessa Legard (Fabian) of Baton Rouge, LA, Hubert Edwards, Jr. (Eleanor) of North Carolina, Beanie Ray Edwards of Biloxi, MS and Timothy Bruce Edwards of Bogalusa, LA; her stepdaughter Angernell Jackson; and her granddaughter Sheri Bourdeaux of New Orleans, LA. She is also survived by twelve grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
