He was predeceased by : his parents, Ordein Sibley Sartin Wells and Hoze Wells; his siblings, Reverend Jacob Sartin Jr. (Annie), Joseph Sartin (Audrey), Charles Sartin (Margaret), Attie Sartin (Orastein), James Sibley, Richard Wells, Lynnell Sartin and Ora Lee Sartin Bickham (Willie); and his sister-in-law Mae Wells.

He is survived by : his wife Brealan; his children, Sheri Wells Bourdeaux (Tyrone), Nakia Bryant and Alfonso Magee; his brother Roger Wells; his nephew Steven Sartin; and his sisters-in-law, Emma Sibley, Tanya Sartin and Joann Wells. He is also survived by his nine grandchildren, one great granddaughter, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives.

A funeral service was held on Saturday, June 29th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the St John Temple Church (1126 N Roosevelt St, Bogalusa, LA 70427).
