He is survived by: his son Darrick May, Sr. of Bogalusa, LA; his brother Ollie Peters of North Carolina; his grandchildren, Darrick May II and Kaliyah May; his nieces, Twanda Lucas, Larena Burns and Myra Peters; and his aunt Canzata Macon of Ohio. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
