He is survived by: his children, James Leslie Spears II of Bogalusa, LA and Candace Spears Stewart of Bogalusa, LA; and his grandchildren, Cassidy (Caleb), Isabella Spears, Sophia Spears and Addyson Stewart. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
