He was predeceased by: his wife Tammie Lee Abernathy; and his parents, Aaron Lee Abernathy and Ann Elizabeth Huling. He is survived by: his daughters, Stacey Abernathy, Tina Fish and Rebbeca Abernathy; his brothers, Johnathan Abernathy, Christopher Abernathy, Matthew Kolus and Anthony Kolus; his grandchildren, Gabriell Abernathy, Nicole Fish and Alexander Fish; and his great grandchildren, Thomas Abernathy and Octavia Abernathy.
