He is survived by: his wife Audrey E. Tagert; his sons, Jay Tagert (Chun Ling), Aadron Tagert (Pamela) and Bradley Tagert (Wendy); his stepchildren, Donna Morris, Tina Palmer (Tim), Tracy Smith (Carl), Johnny Morris (Lesa), Michael Morris (Glenda) and Brandon Morris (Jodi); and his siblings, Alberta Martin Robertson, Jonnye Skeen, Patty Spiers and Kerry Tagert (Ruthie). He is also survived by 19 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
