He is survived by: his daughter Regina Hunt (Steve Hunt) of Bogalusa, LA.; his wife Verena Mae Mizell Bennett of Bogalusa; his son Mark W. Bennett (Tracy Bennett) of Poplarville, MS; and his grandchildren, Duke Bennett, Dusty Bennett, Molly Reid and Mikata Reid. He is also survived by eight great-granddaughters, 3 great-grandsons, one great-great-granddaughter, many cousins, nephews, nieces, and a host of dear friends.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, February 4th 2025 at 10:30 AM and at 11:00 AM at the First Baptist Church (541 Ave F, Bogalusa, LA 70427). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, February 4th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
