He was predeceased by: his parents, Roscoe Hamilton Kennedy and Mary Elizabeth Chadwick Kennedy; and his sisters, Golda Evie Kennedy Singley, Doris Marie Kennedy Weaver, Delores Leavana Kennedy Phillips and Dolly Louise Kennedy Hopgood of Samuel Thomas.
He is survived by: his wife Kathy Bowman Kennedy; his son Jefferi Thomas Dickens (Misty) of Bogalusa; his grandsons, Jacob and James Dickens; his siblings, Edward Earl Kennedy (Sharon) and Dorothy "Dottie" Kennedy Woodward; and his sister-in-law Clara Kennedy. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
