He is survived by: his wife Mary Brown Angel of Bogalusa, LA; his children, Michael Woods of Crowley, LA and Sharita Angel of Dallas, TX; his stepchildren, Christopher Brown of Bogalusa, Deider Newkrik (Larry) of Varnado, LA, Anita Peters of Foxworth, TX and Sherrie Conerly of Trenton, NJ; his siblings, Wilbert Angel, Jr. of Crowley, LA, Larry Melancon of Houston, TX, Lois Cormier Melancon of Crowley, LA, Pamela Alfred (Steven) of Lake Charles, LA and Cheryl Angel of Houston, TX; and his brothers-in-law, Ray Brown (Jeanette) of Wichita, KS, Glenn Brown (Joyce) of Bogalusa, LA and Yusef Komunyakaa. He is also survived by grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, family and friends.
