She was predeceased by: her parents, Wiley Crockett and Dora Jenkins Crockett; her husband William Howard "Lefty" Darden Sr.; her brother Wilfred; her close friends, Christine Russell and Ella Batten; and her son-in-law Roger Tobara.
She is survived by: her children, William "Billy" Darden Jr. (Delia) of Calera Alabama, Darrell Darden (Melissa) of Crossroads and Sharon Darden Tobara of Denham Springs, Louisiana.; and her grandchildren, Michelle Overton (Shane), Jorge Cordova (Michelle), Angela Darden, William "Will" Darden III (Cristina), Erika Smith, Kristina Tobara Fresina (Chris), Amanda Tobara Richard (Chase), Chris Darden, Austin Darden, Shane Overton, Will Darden, Chris Fresina and Chase Richard. She is also survived by ten great grandchildren and two great, great grandchildren.
