He is survived by: his daughters, Dominique Buckhanan (Arkera Buckhanan) of Bogalusa, LA and Cherie Cambell of Franklinton, LA; his grandchildren, Cay (Dience Cambell) and Ethan Buckhanan; his siblings, William Smith, Jr. and Sandra Mitchell; and his close friend Joe Magee. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
