We are sad to announce that on November 27, 2024, at the age of 73, Eugene James Kolar of Bogalusa, Louisiana, born in Shiner, Texas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Eugene shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Eugene farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was predeceased by: his wife Kathleen Gaye Layman Kolar; his parents, Eugene Adolph Kolar and Jimmie Rhea Boykin; and his sisters, Sheila J. Biggs (Kolar) and Cynthia Lee Kolar.
He is survived by: his sons, Matthew M. Kolar and Kevin J. Kolar (Kellee Joiner); his granddaughters, Haley Ann Munch and Tessy Noel Kolar; his great grandchildren, Alaia Ann Munch and Lainey Ann Wehner; and his siblings, David Kelley Kolar and Cheryl Harper. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
