He was predeceased by: his former wife Faye Landrum Fornea; and his wife Cecile Lawrence Fornea. He is survived by: his children, Cindy Tynes of Robert, LA., Elmer Fornea Jr. (Julie) of Santa Fe, TX., Mary Penton (Percy) of Angie, LA. and Genie Williams (Gene) of Angie, LA.. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.
