He was predeceased by: his parents, Willie Edwards (Sarah) and Sarah Edwards; his children, Jeffery Edwards and Pattie Edwards; his siblings, Ira Mae Peters, Oscar Charles and Willie Edwards; and his grandson Alfrey James Mannah.
He is survived by: his wife Jessie Lee Edwards; and his children, Hubert Jr. of North Carolina, Beanie of Biloxi, Timothy Edwards of Bogalusa, LA, Agnernell Jackson, Brealan Wells (Jerry) of Bogalusa, Carroll Cole (Olu Sr.) of New Jersey and Vanessa Legard (Fabian) of Baton Rouge. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, and 18 great grandchildren.
