He is survived by: his wife Kathy Singletary; his children, Darryl Singletary (Susan), Richard Singletary (Melissa) and Shawn Singletary (Jennifer); his sisters, Barbara Applewhite and Sybil Beall (Rory); and his pet Toby. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren; twenty great-grandchildren; two nieces, numerous great nieces and nephews, cousins.
