It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dorothy Williams Wood (Bogalusa, Louisiana), born in Bush, Louisiana, who passed away on August 1, 2022, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Elton Williams and Evie Quave Williams Delcuze; her husband Nathan Turner Wood; and her brothers, Huey, Donald and Rawlin Williams.
She is survived by: her children, Robert Lynn Wood, Barbara Wood Kellar and Gwendolyn Wood Gole (Anthony); her grandchildren, Christopher Wood, Kaitlin Kellar, Kirstin Kellar Causey (John), Major Anthony Gole (Sara) and Lee Gole (Devin); her great grandchildren, Brennan Wood, Kellar Godfrey, Trip Godfrey, Jack Causey, Rebekka Gole, Gus Gole, Sophia Gole, Leeland Gole and Copeland Turner Gole; her sister Jean Williams Slade Pierce; and her sisters-in-law, Audrey Favret Williams and Doris Williams. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
