She was predeceased by: her parents, Oscar Varnado and Ruby Varnado; her brother Jack; and her son Curtis "Curt" Wayne Bourgeois. She is survived by: her brother Losing; her son Jay "Boo" Bourgeois Jr. (Megan); and her grandson Blaine Bourgeois (Danielle). She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
