She was predeceased by: her parents, E. Lavon Burruss and Aline Crain Burruss; and her brother-in-law Ben Hurd. She is survived by: her husband Dr. Walter Tisdale; her children, Barry Tisdale (Janet) and Terri Dawes (David); her sister Bettye Hurd; her grandchildren, Amanda McDonald (Stephen), Andrew Tisdale (Emily), Dana Dawes Blanchard (Mark) and Zach Dawes; her great grandchildren, Nicholas McDonald and Lena Blanchard; her nephew Trevor Hurd (Kerri); her niece Heather Hurd; and her great-nieces, Riley and Finley Hurd.
