We are sad to announce that on October 29, 2021, at the age of 78, David Shelton Jenkins of Bogalusa, Louisiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, James Wilson and Mary Jenkins; and his siblings, Melvin Jenkins, Ray Jenkins, Dorothy Rester and Pauline Carpenter.

He is survived by: his wife Freeda Ruth Mitchell Jenkins; his children, James Jenkins, Michelle Fonda (Darrin) and Amy Jenkins (Eric); his grandchildren, Jordan Cotton (Cindy), Matthew Cotton (Katelyn), Mallory Jenkins, Maggie Jenkins, Callison McKeegan, Bailey McKeegan and Kaitlyn McKeegan; and his great grandchildren, Liam, Luke and Hollyn Cotton.
