He was predeceased by: his wife Stephanie Sheridan Barber; his grandchild Jayden Channing Bounds; his parents, John Wesley Barber and Janie Louise McCain Barber; and his siblings, Melvin Barber (Edith), Merle Barber (Carol), Tommy Barber, Bruce Barber, Ruby Brumfield (Virgil) and Lola Siebert (John).
He is survived by: his daughters, Jennifer Bounds (Dustin) and Tonya Bounds (Colby); his grandchildren, Gavin Samford, Kaden Lankford, Karcin Bounds, Makala Bounds, Zohen Bounds, Madalyn Bounds, Presten Bounds, Keagan Bounds and Hunter Bertioneer; and his sister Sarah Barber Baughman. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
