He was predeceased by: his sons, Clyde Adam Courtney and Craig Rollon Courtney; his parents, Frank Courtney and Wilma Pounds; and his brother Tracy Courtney.
He is survived by: his daughter April Sheridan (Wayne); his siblings, Toye D. Courtney (Dianne) and Buffie Anglin (William "Biff"); his sister-in-law Patricia "Pat" Courtney; and his caregiver Charlotte Arceneaux. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren.
