He was predeceased by: his parents, Oneida Harris Watterson and Ray Watterson; his siblings, Rodney Watterson and Carolyn Watterson Magee; and his son Byron DeWayne Watterson.
He is survived by: his children, Katrice Watterson Wilson of Fort Wayne and Raymond Andre Watterson of Portland, Oregon; his grandchildren, Demanuel, Zackary Wilson, Kapri Renee Archuleta-Watterson, Isis Sharnel, Aryez Marie Watterson and Brandon Maxwell Watterson; his great grandchildren, Jada, Jayden and Alonna Wilson of Fort Wayne, IN; and his siblings, Richard Harris (Hynethia) of Baton Rouge, James Watterson of Vernon, Patricia Abrams and Rosetta Tillman (Will Peters) of Bogalusa. He is also survived by father and family members.
