With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Charles Roland Corkern (Bogalusa, Louisiana), who passed away on April 30, 2020 at the age of 70. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his father Wilfred Melvin Corkern. He is survived by: his children, Charles Nicholas Corkern (Kylie), Jennifer Duggan (Tim) and Amy Weaston (Shane); his mother Charlene Stogner Corkern; his sisters, Peggy Megehee and Betty Roberts (Lynn); and his grandchildren, Adalyn, Cheyenne, Will, Sarah, Samantha and Madison. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.

We also shared a Bogalusa & Washington Parish heritage, although I didn’t grow up there. I am very sorry to read of Roland’s passing.
