It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carrie Hazelwood Parker of Bogalusa, Louisiana, who passed away on December 22, 2022, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, James Hazelwood of Kentwood, LA. and Willie Mae Simmons Hazelwood of Bogalusa; her husband Alfred J. Parker, Sr. (Al); and her sisters, Virgie H. Nelson (Buckner) and Joyce H. Issac.
She is survived by: her son Alfred, Jr. (Patricia); her grandchildren, Alicia Hunter (Darren), Alva Scieneaux (Anthony, Sr.), Alexis Tyler, Brooklyn Williams, Laila and Anthony Scieneaux, Jr.; her great grandchild Asia Demesme; and her brother-in-law Wilbert Parker. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
