It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carolyn Powell (Bogalusa, Louisiana), born in Shinnston, West Virginia, who passed away on June 28, 2021, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her brothers, George Dunbar and Robert Ketterman; her sister-in-law Janet Ketterman; and her parents, Hancel Ketterman and Pauline Ketterman.
She is survived by: her husband William Allen Powell, Sr.; her sons, William Allen Powell, Jr. (Hope), Russell Powell (Gloria) and Scott Bryan Powell (Lacey); her grandchildren, Steffany Powell, Michelle Powell, Ashlyn Powell, Shelby Powell, Landyn Powell, Tyler Powell, Emmersyn Powell, Kaiden Powell, Masyn Powell, Dawsyn Powell, Bostyn Powell and Alexa Trusclair; her great grandchildren, Ko Ueno and Koharu Ueno; and her sister Ketterman Catala.
