It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bernard Fortenberry of Bogalusa, Louisiana, who passed away on September 3, 2024, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman Fortenberry and Ollie Mae Rhodus Fortenberry; and his sister Bernice Fortenberry. He is survived by: his wife Etta Rose Thigpen Fortenberry; his daughter Roxanne Bernadette Fortenberry; his sister Matilda Fae Fortenberry Crain; his niece Becky Lynn Crain; and his sister-in-law Brenda Thigpen Burge.
