He was predeceased by: his parents, John Taylor and Lillie Magee Taylor; his wife Patsy Wall; and his siblings, Nora Graves, Alma Thomas, Viola Pevey, Mamie Cooper, Lettie Foil, Frank Taylor, Andrew Taylor, Eddie Taylor and Devon Taylor.
He is survived by: his children, Ron Taylor (Dawna) of Murphy, TX, Cheryl Lyons of Humble, TX, Pam Ball (Ted) of Baton Rouge and Greg (Suzy) of Madison, MS.; and his brother Ray Taylor of Franklinton.
Due to covid-19, a graveside service will be held with Pastor Marcus Rosa of Westside Emmanuel Baptist Church officiating.
