He was predeceased by: his parents, Edwin M. Schilling and Athelee Gerald Schilling; his son B. J. Schilling; and his stepson Clay Mitchell. He is survived by: his wife Deborah F. Schilling; his children, Teresa Schilling Rosenthal (David), Christy Schilling Galloway (Chris) and Tammie Schilling Magee (Terry); his stepsons, Ritchie Mitchell (Kelly) and David Mitchell; and his grandchildren, Sarah Rosenthal Delaney (Zack), McKenna, Dalton Rosenthal, Ben, Jake, Cade Galloway, Tyler Mattes, Dallen, Garrison Magee, Justin Thomas, Kristan Mitchell Creel (Chris), Brady, Brooke, Clay and Annie Mitchell. He is also survived by four great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
