He was predeceased by: his parents, George (Jennie Giafaglione Pepe) and Sicilian; his former wife Anne Borden Bryant; his wife Maudine Spears Pepe; his daughter Jenny Lynn Babinski; his siblings, Dr. John Pepe, Charles Pepe, Mary Pepe Drouant, Lena Pepe Gonzales and Dora Pepe Hudson; and his stepdaughter Sheila Atkinson.
He is survived by: his son Mark Pepe (Gwen); his sister Joyce Ann Laughlin; his son-in-law Joe Babinski (Lynn); his grandchildren, Aimee Babinski Hudddleston (Dan), Brittany Pepe, Aniella Babinski Stoiber (Nathan), Brad Pepe and Justin Schemer; his great grandchildren, Ella, Lily, Duke, Ace, Reagan and Devin; and his close friend Flo Michler. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to The Annunciation Catholic Church or St Jude Children's Research Hospital.
